All Star gigs are a series of live music shows made up of acts put together just for the night. In 2012, the All Star gigs are Saturday nights, March 24, [summer TBD], and November 17th. There will be 3 Acts made up of musicians that sign up for the night, each getting a 30 minute set. The gigs are at Linnemans, a legendary Milwaukee venue, the Y Not III, an awesome East Side club with a stage and party room upstairs.
The All Star gigs offer musicians the chance to play songs with a full band made up of potentially new and interesting people. They serve as an outlet for musicians without requiring all the committment and overhead of starting and maintaining a band. The commitment is firm, but it is for this gig only. The gig is already booked, you just work with the other members of your act to put a professional sounding set together.
